This is a fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Alabama. Please come out and join us for a fun event and make a big difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome of all ages.

Entering the RUN, is a great way to support individuals with Down syndrome.  A runner can raise AWARENESS for individuals with Down syndrome while RAISING FUNDS for programs supported by DSA.

Fundraising runners:  There are a variety of ways for runners to invite donors, of all financial standings, to join them in supporting people with Down syndrome of all ages. This partnership between runner and donor builds in excitement as fundraising totals rise and the positive impact their alliance will have upon the Down syndrome community is realized.

On the day of the race, the runner’s personal commitment to supporting individuals with Down syndrome and the goodwill contributions pledged by donors become a tangible inspiration and encouragement to the runner during the race.

The monumental accomplishment of the RUN and the final tallying of funds raised are moving to both the runner and DSA members when the check is presented.  The runner’s achievement fuses with DSA’s gratitude in a festive celebration for all.

Check these sites for ideas: Contact the event coordinator to inquire if there is a charitable fundraising option to the race.
